Meet our Dental Care professionals

Principle Dentist

Dr. Shahrzad Radpour B.Sc., Ph.D., B.D.S. (Lon)
GDC registration number : 73777

Shahrzad initially qualified as a scientist with a BSc in Physiology and a PhD in Neurophysiology. Having been a Welcome Trust research fellow at the Royal Free Hospital (London) for a number of years, she decided to change career and qualified as a dentist from the Royal London Dental School in 1997. Shahrzad Worked as an associate for a number of years gaining experience both in NHS and Private General Dentistry before taking over Tudor Lodge Dental Practice in 2002.

Shahrzad, as well as the rest of the team, attend regular courses, conferences and seminars to ensure that our patients receive the latest and the most up to date treatments, techniques and materials. Her clinical interests lie within Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry which includes Invisalign (clear braces) and anti-ageing facial treatments. Shahrzad has completed a diploma course Restorative Dentistry and is a member of the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry.

Dentists

Dr. Sima Salehi BDS(Lon), LDS RCS

Sima graduated in 1986 from UMDS in London. Since qualifying she has been working in general dental practice in west London. She joined the team at Tudor Lodge in 2004, where she has been caring for a loyal group of patients.

Sima is very aware of keeping up to date with the advances in dental treatment and regularly participates in postgraduate training to further her skills and knowledge and enjoys learning new techniques. She completed a year long practical restorative course with Paul Tipton in 2015. She has certified training in aesthetic white fillings, Inman aligned and anti-snoring.

Dr. Karina Kowalski BDS (Kings College London)
GDC registration number: 211311

Dr Kowalski is passionate about providing high-quality dentistry for her patients in a relaxed and friendly environment. Having qualified from King's College London University in 2011. Dr Kowalski did her vocational training in Cambridge where she worked for Cambridge University Dental Services. She subsequently worked in numerous multi-disciplinary practices in and around London both for the National Health and Privately. She is also appointed COVID leader for the practice.

Dr Kowalski believes in further education and continuous professional development, as a result, attends numerous courses throughout the year. She has completed the year-long "Aspire Advanced Restorative and Aesthetics, Bespoke Smile Academy amongst many others and is an Invisalign provider. She is also a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Her passion and special interest lies in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry. This includes Composite Bonding, Veneers and Short Term Orthodontics (clear aligners) to achieve a beautiful, natural smile, all without any permanent damage. Therefore, if you are considering improving your smile do not hesitate to book yourself in for a consultation!

Dr Kowalski was born and raised in London, to Polish parents, and had a dual British and French education at the Lycée Français Charles De Gaulle, which makes her fluent in both Polish and French.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Kowalski enjoys spending time working out and is generally into fitness and healthy eating. She spends most of her free time with family and friends and is a very passionate skier. She also enjoys travelling and discovering new cultures and cuisines.

Specialist Orthodontist

Dr. Morvarid Simiab M.DS, DDS, Copenhagen Dental School

Morvarid joined Tudor lodge in 2011. She specialises in all kinds of braces including fixed, removable, labial, lingual and Invisalign and is a member of the European Orthodontics Society (EOS).

She qualified from Copenhagen Dental School (previously called Royal Dental School), Copenhagen, Denmark in 1996 having completed a 5-year dental training course. She was awarded a Masters Degree in Health Sciences and a Master of Dental Sciences followed by Doctorate in Dental Sciences (DDS).

Prior to her postgraduate and specialist training Morvarid worked as a general dentist treating both children and adults. As a general dentist, Morvarid's special interests were cosmetic dentistry and surgical removal of wisdom teeth. She then underwent postgraduate specialist training in Orthodontics and qualified as Specialist in Orthodontics from Copenhagen Dental School (previously called Royal Dental School), Copenhagen, Denmark in 2002 and has since been practicing in both NHS and private practices in Denmark and UK and at the same time been lecturing Orthodontics in Copenhagen Dental School, Copenhagen, Denmark.

She is also now a First Aid provider and is up to date with all courses recommended by GDC.

Implant

Dr. Ian Seddon  BDS Manc (Manchester University)

In establishing Seddon Dental Implants, Ian Seddon looked to put patients at the focus of his care. He looked to build a team that would help him offer this patient first approach, taking time to listen to people and understand the problems their teeth give them in their daily lives.

He tries to explain all about what he sees, in understandable language, then discusses a range of dental treatment options, so patients can use this information to make the best-informed choices for their mouth.

Hygienists

Ms. Prab Rajaratnam R.D.H (University of Sheffield), Bsc. MSc.

Prabhs (as she likes to be known) completed her Dental Hygiene/Therapy Diploma at Charles Clifford Dental School in Sheffield. Before joining the world of dentistry, she had graduated from University College London and she holds both a Batchelor of Science and a Master of Science in Medical Microbiology. She has been a member of Tudor Lodge Dental Practice since November 2012.

She is caring, gentle and has extensive experience and knowledge in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Prabhs has worked in Special Care dentistry and has worked both in NHS and private practices. Her focus is towards education, maintenance and prevention.

Her interests outside dentistry are to keep fit and a healthy lifestyle.

Ms. Ramona Burzgyte R.D.H (University of Leeds), Bsc.
GDC registration number: 221452

Raimonda obtained a BSc(Hons) in Dental Technology at Manchester University and received her Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy at Leeds University with a Merit and was the winner of "Best Clinical Performance Award".

Raimonda joined Tudor Lodge Dental practice in February 2015. She has a particular interest in periodontal disease, and it's treatment and is committed to providing high-quality care with a strong emphasis on prevention.

During her time in Leeds, she gained over two years of experience working in community care clinics treating a variety of patients with complex medical histories, special needs, learning difficulties. She has carried this experience with her and is very popular with anxious and phobic patients and regularly attends patient management courses. In fact, she is very active in continuous professional development to update her knowledge base and add to her professional capabilities. She has recently completed a course in Facial Aesthetics including Botox and Collagen.

Outside work, Raimonda has a keen interest in exercise, baking cakes and travelling. Tell her about your latest bake or travel adventure!

Ibtisam Serbout

Ibtisam spent her first few professional years until 2015 accumulating an initial set of experiences as a Dental Nurse. She then went onto graduating from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute with a qualification in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys providing a high standard of education, motivation and treatment for patients with a wide range of periodontal and dental diseases.

What she enjoys about her work the most is getting to know her patients. She believes it is important to take the time to understand their concerns, educating them in what is happening in their mouths, and giving a clear explanation on what to expect. She strives to create a relaxed, comfortable, and approachable environment for all her patients.

Outside of work she enjoys cooking authentic Moroccan dishes, visiting the gym, and spending time with her family.

Dental Nurses

Lina

Lina joined us over a year ago is one of our trainee dental nurses. She is currently enrolled on a dental nursing course. Linas role is to assist the dentist and make sure the patient is comfortable and at ease. She recently got a new puppy, which she is smitten with. She enjoys baking and cooking and loves her morning coffee.

Shannon

Shannon is a qualified dental nurse since 2014 and has recently joined our team part-time. Her role is to assist the clinician during treatment, as well as being in charge of our strict cross infection protocols. Outside of work Shannon enjoys spending time with her son and family, as well as visiting places of interest and cooking Jamaican cuisine.

Alina

Alina recently joined us as a trainee dental nurse. Having previous experience in care homes, her real passion has always been to work with people in a dental environment. Although she is timid and has a gentle nature, she is a keen learner, is very hard working and motivated. Her other passions outside of dentistry are animals and art.

Receptionists

Vicky

Vicky has been working as our receptionist for 8 years and is very popular amongst our patients. She has a very caring and gentle soul. She enjoys eating out and spending time with her rescue dog.

Esther

Esther works as one of our part-time receptionists. She and her family were patients of ours for many years before she joined our reception team. She loves going on long walks in Richmond Park and along the river. She loves animals and has recently welcomed a miniature daschund to her family.

Leanne

Leanne has been working as a part-time receptionist at Tudor Lodge for 3 years, she too started off as a longstanding patient before joining. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends outside of work, as well as baking extravagant cakes.
